London Vacation Packages

Although British power has diminished over the years, there’s no denying that they still remain a powerful force in both the political and financial arena. Buckingham Palace 

Going on a London vacation package without visiting Buckingham Palace is sort of similar to eating fish without chips. It’s the official home of the Royal family and a beautiful landmark in the City. Situated near the Green Park tube station, it’s easily accessible and if you time it right (and make sure you do), you can view the Changing of the guards. A tourist’s highlight! 

London Eye    The London eye has become one of this must see landmarks in the city. It’s just simply a great way to view London from an elevated perspective.   The crowds can get pretty intense (especially on weekends), but if you go early enough you won’t be standing in the queues for too long.

The rotation is about 30 minutes which will give you more than enough time to take some pictures and see what you want to see. On a clear day you can see for about 40km!! A definite stop on a London vacation package.

Tower Bridge  

A distinctly London landmark, it’s definitely worth at least walking across it. It’s a great place for some happy snaps on your London vacation package and will surely get your friends jealous about your European travels.  

Local Pub    If there’s one thing that London has alot of, it’s local pubs. Take the time to go for a pub lunch or dinner. You’ll have the chance to experience some real British cuisine with pint of good ol’ English lager or beer. Even though there are many chain pubs like Wheterspoons and O’Neills, you’ll enjoy the independent ones much more.

These are really just a handful of the many sites and attractions that London has on offer. Make sure to visit Harrods (the world-renowned luxury shop), St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Royal Exchange, The Bank of England, Hyde Park, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Madam Tussaud’s, Westminster Abbey, a range of museums and take a stroll along the Queens walk next to the river Thames.  

London is also easily accessible with 5 large international airports. Travel is dead easy with a comprehensive bus and rail (Underground) system that reaches across the city from all the suburbs. The cab system is also easy to use with a large number of ‘Black Cabs’ and other licensed Taxis on the road. If that’s not enough, you’ll find walking a preferred choice. There’s simply so much to see in the city, why waste a single second travelling!
