the culture vulture or just Mother Nature, this continent offers it all. There are literally hundreds of different European holidays that will appeal to your particular needs.   

Let’s look at a few places you want to consider to include in your European holiday trip: 

In Germany you can take some time to visit the Neuschwanstein Castle (the Disneyland castle is based on its design), attend the Oktoberfest in Munich or travel down Romantic Road which will take you through scenery you never could have even imagined.

In Spain you can run with the bulls in Pamplona to get your adrenaline pumping, visit the Olympic City (Barcelona) with all its beautiful attractions, or soak up the sun in the southern parts on the beautiful Spanish beaches. Spain has been known for being an ‘all-in-one’ country for your European holiday.  

Italy will blow your mind away with all the historical sites and different settings. Experience the greatness of the old Roman Empire in the city of Rome with world renowned sites such as the Colosseum, catacombs and Spanish Steps. The Vatican City is also based inside Rome – a must see. Alternatively you can visit beautiful Venice with its waterways and see the leaning tower of Pisa as part of your European holiday.  

If you want to see the beauty of Mother Nature in a way that you’ve never seen it before, you need to include Switzerland as part of your European holiday. The picturesque Swiss Alps with its beautiful lakes simply cannot be described in words. Switzerland is a jaw dropping experience and you’ll end up not wanting to leave.

Let’s not forget about the Scandinavian countries. The likes of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark offer wonderful experiences to its visitors. Stay in the Ice Hotel in Sweden, visit the famous Norwegian Fjords and tour the marvellous city of Helsinki in Norway. These countries are a great way to spice up your European holiday.

The crazy thing about it all is that these are just a handful of the European destinations which you can consider to include in your vacation package. There is simply too much to do in one single trip.  

The way we see it, you can also think about covering single cities as destinations. Consider especially a London vacation package or a Paris vacation package. If you plan on travelling in the summertime it may even be worthwhile to spend a little time on Europe’s beautiful beaches. One of the countries that are almost always on top of the list for this is Greece. The many islands not only have great historical sites but are the perfect place to work on your tan as the blue waters break on the white sandy beaches. A Greece vacation package may therefore just be what the doctor ordered.
